New learning and lab training scenarios need solutions to integrade practice with web delivery of theoritical cources for improving distance education and training.

In universities and high educational institutions the laboratory cources often pose serious problems for what concerns the relevant resources required in terms of equipment and personnel. As far as the existing resources cannot be dublicated, a much more efficient solution must be provided.

Under this scope a huge effort has been addressed to simulation in order to support technical disciplines education. Nevertheless simulation cannot exhaustively represent reality. This lack suggests a new approach oriented to provide remote access to real laboratories where intruments are availiable 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, without personnel and also allowing multiple users use them at the same time with their own preferences (running their own experiment, acquiring their preferred data, etc). With such an approach valuable experience can be easily carried out so that real laboratories make much of their valuable time-in-use.

The RMCLab model addresses the full remote monitor and control of custom real experiments and ever widening laboratory equipment. Moreover, RMCLab is able to support custom designs for testing and evaluation with real lab instrumentation and hardware!

This is the full panel that an RMCLab user has to work with. You can find more details about the structure of the RMCLab Project to the Project Page.
